Bombing indiscriminately on civilians and injuring women and children is an inhumane act. BHRO

Baloch Human Rights Organization believes that, recent incident of killing a man and injuring many women by forces during an operation in Alandoor is an inhumane act and said that attacking of innocent women by forces is a serious crime which should be condemned at all levels. During military operations, Pakistani forces above all war rules and ethics not only hurt the dignity of people but also bombard people’s houses indiscriminately and due to which casualties of innocent civilians are taking place. It further stated that forces are hiding the situation of Balochistan and using excessive force on common people in Balochistan. From past few times women are also getting injured and killed by forces. Before few days 4 people including 2 women and an infant were killed by forces’ firing in Kohistan Marri. Before this incident, a woman’s body was also found buried in the mass grave discovered in district Dera Bugti in which 4 people were buried. All of them were abducted by forces from their houses.
BHRO said that it is very sad that civil society’s organizations and journalists are silent on the bad situation of Balochistan. The forces are taking advantage of their silence and abducting and killing the people. It is the core responsibility of all the organizations to raise their voice in order to stop the incidents of appearing of mutilated bodies and for the safe recovery of thousands of missing persons. Despite of presence of state’s system and constitution, illegally abducting people and killing them extra judicially is itself violation of law. Government authorities and judiciary is becoming a helping hand in crime by remaining silent on human rights violations taking place in Balochistan. These institutions are losing their trust of common people by remaining silent.
